It's fairly common knowledge now that the best type of front mudguard for MTBs is one that mounts to the fork lowers, but what you might not know is that Mudhugger make the best ones available! Used by shop staff for several years now, we're confident that a Mudhugger guard is going to do an excellent job of keeping the cack off you!
 
The Front Race mudguard was designed with the help of World Cup and Enduro World Series riders, back in 2014. Look closely (they can be hard to spot once fitted), and you’ll see them in use at many Downhill and Enduro races around the world. From the likes of tomorrow’s champs in the Rippers category to 2017 World Champion Loic Bruni, along with team mates Finn Iles, 2016 Junior World Champ and Miranda Miller womens 2017 World Champ, many Pros choose to run this guard when the conditions require maximum mud protection.
 
Equipped with various holes for fitting to different fork braces, the FR Hugger is suitable for all wheel sizes: 26er, 650B and 29ers. It also works on Plus-size tyres up to 3 inches wide in a Boost fork. Not sure if it’ll fit? The general rule is that if you can get your index finger between the fork brace and top of the tyre, there’s enough clearance to fit to your bike.
